Nado Select’s BU18 and BU17 participated in the 2011 National Cup. Both teams were led by Coach Brian Hiatt-Aleu. The teams played excellent and managed to advance out of the first round of play. The BU18 made it to the Round of 16, but lost to the eventual champs United (see results). BU17 won their group, beating very tough opponents (Santa Barbara SC White and SD United FC Black). In the quarterfinals, the boys were tied 1-1 against Viking SC Storm, but with 2 minutes remaining a late goal by the Storm knocked Nado out (see results).
