The GU11 played two back-to-back tournaments in August, making it to the championship finals for each. The team placed first in their brackets for both the San Diego Premier Classic and Attack Summer Classic in order to make it to the finals. Although the results in the finals did not fall to the favor of the GU11, suffering a 3-0 loss to Albion and 4-0 loss to CV Rangers, the girls had some great moments on the field. “I am so proud of the way the girls played in both tournaments. They really connected on the field and proved their offensive and defensive abilities. After seeing the passing combinations, dribbling skill, and confidence on the field, there is no doubt that we will have an exciting Presidio season.” said Coach Beesan Abder-Ruhman.
