CYSL celebrated the start of the 2008 season with a great day in Tidelands Park. Players and their families enjoyed food and games as well as an exhibition game of the Coaches vs. the Olders.

Congratulations to the BU9, led by Joao Brantuas, and GU15, led by Kiko Medina, for their 1st place victories. Their successful tournament run also helped raise funds and support Rady Children’s Hospital.

Nado Select had a great showing at the 2008 Crusaders Cup. Congratulations to the teams that participated! GU13, led by JT Tomaschke, and BU16, led by Kiko Medina. Both teams clenched the Championship in their group. GU9, BU9 white, BU10 white, and GU15 were all finalists.

The BU12, led by Ivan Navarro, won the CV Rangers Memorial Day Tournament this past weekend.

Nado Select would like to congratulate the BU15 and BU16. BU15, led by Kiko Medina, were named 2008 State Cup Finalists. BU16, led by Brian Hiatt-Aleu, were named 2008 State Cup Semi-Finalists.

The GU10 White played 3 tournaments over the Summer, walking away with 2 championship trophies and 1 finalist trophy. The team is coached by Manny Neves and managed by Stephanie Lay. Nado Select teams that participated in the 06 State Cup included GU9 white, GU10, GU11, GU12, BU11, and BU12. Three teams moved on to the 2nd round of play, GU9 white, GU12, and BU12.
