Nado Select’s GU14 White won the Irvine Spring Classic this past weekend, March 19-20. In the 4 games they played, the team scored a total of 14 goals and allowed zero goals. Shutouts went to goalkeepers Brooke Voorhies and Amber White. Defenders Madison Montague, Sydney Ontiveros, Michaela Murphy, Allie Hecht, and Emily Reilly did an amazing job of shutting down the opposing teams. Coach Kiko Medina commented on the tournament result, “This is quite positive for us. The team has been preparing for State Cup in April and the girls are getting close to being ready. After the way they played this weekend, I have high expectations of a strong showing in State Cup.”
