CYSL provides local youth (over the age of 9) and adults an opportunity to participate as paid referees for both competitive and recreational games. Referee licensing clinics are offered each year in Coronado as well as other areas in San Diego.

For players who may have difficulty paying their soccer fees this season, this is a great way to earn money.  Once a player/parent is certified, if they owe fees to the club, each time they ref, their earnings will go directly toward their fees.  If they do not owe money to the club,  they will receive the money they earn.
