CYSL hosted CalSouth’s State Cup, Governor’s Division, this past weekend for the Boys U9 and U10 as well as the Girls U9 age groups at the Coronado Cays. The tournament was an outstanding success thanks to all the volunteers that came out to assist at the Cays. Not only did CYSL receive comments on the beautiful fields of the Coronado Cays, but CYSL volunteers really put on an organized event for all of the participants.

State Cup is a compilation of SoCal soccer clubs who battle it out for the title of State Cup Champion. All three Nado teams did extremely well in their bracket. Only the top 2 teams of each bracket advance to the next round. Nado’s BU10 and GU9 came in 1st of their bracket, while the BU9 placed 2nd. All three teams will be playing this upcoming weekend. We wish the teams the best—Go Nado!

CalSouth’s State Cup, President’s Division, will be held over the weekend of February 19-20 at the Coronado Cays soccer fields. CYSL is in need of some volunteers. Shifts usually last for about 2 hours. Please contact Cindi Gehler at recdirector@nadosoccer.com if you are intereseted in volunteering.
